In Service Training Course
The ARTinED Project has offered two in-service training courses that has taken place in Madrid , Spain and in Collodi, Italy
Madrid 24-29 June 2013
Collodi 1-6 July 2013
Participants will receive hands-on training on the creation of art lessons for the classroom. Participants will then be given access to methodologies and good examples to practice specific art skills to enhance learning of any curricular subject in a practical and supportive environment in the classroom.
Then, working in teams, participants will be required to conceive, plan and create a lesson plan, as well as to analyze the critical cases the participants themselves will provide form their experience. At the end of the course the teachers will have gained the skills and practical knowledge necessary to create their own lessons plan and to solve some specific difficult cases. There will be a final evaluation session, on the importance that Art can bring to the learning process.
Participants will be shown different examples of on line resources available through the ARTinED web site.
To stimulate discussion and to raise issues related to quality and pedagogical value of Art, one visit is foreseen in each training session.
The first will be to Prado Museum in Madrid in Spain and the second one to Pinocchio Park in Collodi, Tuscany in Italy.
